Wyoming Scouting Trip

Being the tag along with my wife Adriane for her Fall cycling scouint trip has been a lot of fun.  Having never been to Wyoming and only seeing pictures has been eye opening to say the least.  I could not believe the miles and miles of massive wood snow fences along the highways.  What a beautiful state today we drove through the Teton National Park to Jackson Hole Wyoming.  The Tetons are stunning!  I can not describe with words and I am not sure the pictures or video we took due it justice.  I know my mom would love to try to capture them with her camera, she loved taking nature shots.

Oh we almost got hit by a Buffalo popping through the aspens.  I was not able to catch him fast enough with camera so all I got was a shot of his butt.  Sorry!   I am looking forward to the rest of the week.

Branson Air Show

After looking forward to the Branson Air Show for several months the day finally came and it didn’t disappoint! After fear of rain the day turned out to be a beautiful one.  Adriane and I forgot to bring sunscreen and consequently got toasted.  I am still peeling. Here are some of the cools shots we took! It was so much fun and the show seemed very well organized. I really hope the do another next year.

Halo 3 Skulls

Like a true Halo 3 dork I spent many hours getting the Halo 3 Skulls hidden on the various levels. Finally retrieved them all the other night. 🙂

Jalapeno's Planted

So I wanted to grow some jalapeno peppers to make some jalapeno jelly since Barb Narancich got me hooked on it.  She gave us the first but the next ones are going to cost us.  JK  I went to Wal-Mart and bought some jalapeno seeds to plant.  I later decided that I didn’t want to wait for the plants to grow from seeds so I went to Home Depot and bought a couple quart sized plants.  I planted them in a couple large plastic containers and put them on the deck.  Grow baby grow!  I’m ready for some jelly.  Oh wait I need to get the recipe from Barb!  Phase 1 – Plant Jalapeno plants, Check!  Phase 2 – Get Jalapeno Jelly Recipe.
